Enago has entered an agreement with the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) to provide bespoke manuscript screening technology for incoming journal submissions. This is a significant step from the RSC to support authors with checking journal-specific requirements and preparing their manuscript, with the aim of making the submission process quicker and improving author experience.
The product, built on Enago Reports technology, will screen manuscript check points specific to individual RSC journals, providing invaluable guidance to authors in ensuring they have complied with publisher and journal specific requirements.
“The RSC is one of the foremost publishers progressing high quality scientific research and it is a privilege to partner with them,” said Abhigyan Arun, CEO of Enago. “Providing authors with accurate actionable information on their manuscript is a step towards improving editorial and peer review efficacy.”
“We are excited to partner with Enago to deliver this innovative pre-submission tool to support our authors with manuscript preparation and to speed up the submission process. Investing in author tools such as this supports our goal to provide an enhanced and excellent author experience,” remarked Emma Wilson, Director of Publishing, RSC.
