Trinka AI announced the launch of its Moodle Integration Plugin that enables universities to deploy Trinka's writing support and academic integrity solution directly within their existing Moodle LMS, keeping all capabilities inside the platform their students and faculty already work in.
Trinka's writing support tools, built specifically for academic and technical writing, are available to students inside Moodle assignment workflows. Students receive language and grammar guidance grounded in academic writing conventions, covering discipline-specific usage across medicine, engineering, social sciences, and more. The tools are designed to support students in developing stronger writing skills, not to write for them.
Alongside this, Trinka DocuMark gives faculty and academic integrity officers transparency into the writing process. Rather than flagging finished submissions after the fact, DocuMark builds a record of how work was developed, including where and how AI was used. This gives institutions a practical basis for responsible AI use policies, shifting the focus from enforcement back to learning outcomes.
The integration is FERPA, GDPR, and SOC 2 compliant. Student and institutional data stays with the university and is never used for AI training.
The plugin supports administrative configuration by department, course, or user group, with full data governance controls that align to each institution's own policies.
"Universities need practical tools, not just policies," said Sharad Mittal, Founder, Trinka AI. "The Moodle Plugin puts writing support and integrity guidance where students already work. Faculty stay focused on teaching. Institutions stay in control of their data. Nothing about the existing workflow needs to change."
The Trinka Moodle Plugin is available now for institutional deployment. Universities can request a demonstration at connect@trinka.ai
