The services and tools of Enago and Trinka, the research support and AI solutions business division of Crimson Interactive Japan Inc. (Kanda, Tokyo; CEO: Sharad Mittal; headquarters: Crimson Interactive), have been certified by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology as a research support service partnership that “improves the research environment for researchers and contributes to the promotion of science and technology and the creation of innovation in Japan*.”
The certified services and tools are as follows:
A‑PRAS is a Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology program that connects universities, independent administrative institutions, research organizations, and their researchers with high‑quality research support services provided by private‑sector partners. Through A‑PRAS, the ministry certifies private‑sector services that can build strong networks with research institutions and their researchers, and that are recognized for their outstanding features, their contribution to improving the research environment, and their role in advancing science and technology and fostering innovation in Japan. Established in 2019, the program aims to accelerate scientific and technological innovation, increase awareness of diverse initiatives related to research support services, and promote their further development.
Crimson Interactive, the operator of Enago and Trinka, celebrated its 20th anniversary in December 2025. Built on technology and a network of global academic experts, its research support services have been highly regarded by universities and research institutions in Japan, South Korea, and China, as well as by researchers affiliated with these organizations, and have supported the academic communication of more than 2 million people worldwide.
This 20‑year milestone represents our customers’ recognition of the services we provide, and we believe that certification from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology will give them even greater confidence and peace of mind when using our services.

The Accreditation of Partnership on Research Assistance Service (A‑PRAS) is a Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) system that certifies qualifying research support services provided by private businesses as “research support service partnerships.” Established in 2019, the system aims to accelerate the promotion of science and technology and the creation of innovation in Japan, and to support the development of a wide range of initiatives related to research support services. Businesses are certified according to broad categories that reflect the type of services they provide, such as “research environment support” and “research human resource support.”
